Being a single mum for years was a ride and a half. Now I’m on the rollercoaster of peri-menopause and well… the plot twists just keep on coming.
But through it all, one thing’s been constant: my refusal to settle.

I’m a qualified graphic designer and teacher and I’m also ‘qualified by experience’ in MANY life things.

I’ve never been more passionate about helping mums and women find something just for them. To dance to the beat of their own drum. As a mum to 2 young kids, I not only understand the modern day mumma struggle, I’m not even out of the trenches yet myself!
My biggest motivator is the thought that, along my journey, I might just be able to lovingly slap some women out of a less-than-desirable existence that they’ve learnt to accept, and make them realise, they can ask for more too.
I want to give them something just for them.

In this module, we break design technique down to its bones – elements, principles, and how to make stuff look good on purpose. There’s no time for jargon up in here! You’ll only get the good stuff that makes your work look polished, professional, and consistent. Even if you’re slapping a Canva template together 15 minutes before school pick-up.
We’ll show you how understanding basic design can totally give you the edge as a VA. From formatting presentations and creating social tiles, to making things clear, scroll-stopping, and easy on the eye (because clients love someone who makes them look good).
And yes, we’re putting it into action. you’ll be experimenting in Canva and creating your own logo for your VA biz. Not just because it’s fun (it is), but because learning design through your own brand gives you skills and confidence you can take straight to clients.

Let’s talk websites and the tech that keeps them running, because in today’s digital world, not having an online presence is like setting up a Sunday market stall with nothing on the table. You need a space that shows people what you’re about, builds trust, and quietly says, “I’m the real deal.”
In this module, we’ll walk through the most popular website platforms so you can choose what suits your goals (and your clients’) without the tech overwhelm. You’ll learn how to set up the essential tools that keep your business running smoothly – think email marketing, CRMs, booking systems, schedulers, and design platforms – all forming your streamlined Rebel Tech Stack.
Then we’ll roll up our sleeves and build your own simple, clean one-page website. This will be your digital HQ that shows off your brand, tells people what you do, and starts bringing in those juicy enquiries.
You don’t need to be a developer or a tech wizard… just curious, confident, and ready to figure it out like the badass you are. This setup will give you back time for the things (and people) you love.
In this module, we’ll help you figure out your “enough number” – how much money you want to earn, how many hours you actually want to work, and what it looks like to build a business that supports your life (not consumes it).
You’ll explore different pricing models like retainers, day rates, hourly packs, and project-based quotes, and learn how to choose what feels right for you. We’ll also give you simple tools to help you calculate your rates with confidence… without second-guessing your worth.
And because we’re all about sustainability, we’ll show you how to avoid burnout by recognising when enough is enough and show you how to combat that by simply taking a step back, adding more boundaries or, by implementing procedures that will relieve some pressure (e.g. onboarding & off boarding clients).

Sales and marketing. Yep, those two words can trigger a full-body cringe if you think it’s all cold DMs, fake urgency, and talking about yourself non-stop.

This module is about showing you, that you control the narrative. We’ll go through what marketing actually is (hint: not just Instagram posts), how to talk about what you do without sounding like a try-hard, and how to sell without the ick or the fear of rejection.
You’ll learn the basics of social media strategy, key marketing terms (in plain English), and simple ways to attract the right people – for your own business and your future clients’.
Because once you realise sales is just solving the right problem for the right person? It stops being scary and starts being seriously powerful.

Not exclusively for mums, no. We harp on about mums because we are mums, we understand mums, we think mums are the modern day heroes, and we understand that the juggle is REAL. We also believe that after becoming a mum, you tend to reassess where you are at in your life and realise that you don’t really fit the 9-5 anymore.
We know SO many women who have started their own business with the same story; ‘I had my first child and then realised I didn’t want to go back to work’. So we KNOW this program would suit this large demographic perfectly.
